Dropping Symbols – Win More for Less with Free Re-spins

Whether you call it Dropping Symbols, Rolling Reels (Jungle Jim) or Avalanches (Gonzo’s Quest) it’s all one and the same. Meaning, each time you trigger a winning combo, it’ll disappear and create empty spots for new or existing symbols from above. This is not the first time Thunderkick uses Dropping Symbols. Increasing Multiplier

Usually, with falling or dropping symbols there’s a win multiplier to spice it up some more.

The multiplier (on the right from the reels) increases one step with every re-spin or each time new symbols are dropped in. It grows from x1 to x2 after the first re-spins, and to x3, x5 and x7 for the following re-spins. So all wins after the 4^th re-spin are worth 7x more. In contrast, the Birds On a Wire slot has one multiplier less: x1, x2, x3 and x5.

And speaking of increasing multipliers, it’s one of Thunderkick’s favourite features. Such progressive multiplier can also be found in video slots like Barber Shop, Fruit Warp, and Sunset Delight. The only difference is that you need a Free Spins bonus to activate it. In addition to Frog Grog’s 6 regular symbols – which multiply line wins by up to 10x – the wizardry game also features the Wild Frog. The frog initially appears in red and acts like a regular Wild, substituting for any other symbol.

Here’s the fun part: The Wild will then remove all symbols on the same row and column (except other frogs), and freeze for 1 more game round or until it triggers a win.

The point is to keep it in view for a minimum of 1 more re-spins or till a guaranteed win. More Wilds can appear as usual, and do more magic. Such feature will kick in with every Wild, which is good news, just like the next bonus.

Random Mystery Game – Removes Low Value Symbols for Guaranteed Win

At times when no wins are to be seen, the Frog Grog slot may summon unworldly spirits and award you a bonus just because it can.

The feature will remove all symbols but the 3 most valuable ones: two of the highest paying symbols (the Moth and Flower) and the Wild Frog. The symbols that get removed award wins according to the paytable. In the technical terms, you’ll be awarded scatter wins, whenever possible, to form combos of at least 3 of a kind.

And let’s not forget that as that happens, the Multiplier also increases one step for each win during the Mystery Game. So wins can be worth up to 7x more. And since it’s triggered without will, it’s the best when the mystery feature kicks in when you’re at the highest multiplier.
